11-year-old intact male Daschund was presented with the complain of dysurina. US of the abdomen revealed urinary bladder cystoliths and cystic prostatomegaly. But there seems to be a normal prostate also left and can be seen in one of the videos. It looks like the cystic prostate is attached to the normal prostate. The dysuria was gone following cystotomy and cystolith removal. Castration was also done at the time of cystotomy. The dog is pretty asymptomatic now. I aspirated the prostate at the time of surgery and only got some cystic fluid with no cells. Can it still benign prostatic hyperplasia?

This would be most consistent wiht BPH and prostatitis as there is some enhanced fat around the prostatic capsule. Likely an abscess in the second video. I would drain fna and neuter if fluid looks purulent you can inject body weight dose of baytril right back into the abscess and neuter. ADAIN procedure.
