8 year old female entire Bernese Mountain Dog with severe bilateral uveitis, also coming into season
Mild-moderately elevated liver enzymes and cholesterol, neutrophilic leucocytosis
Scanned to check for systemic cause of uveitis
The liver parenchyma was heterogenous and the gallbladder seemed distended (was not fasted) with echogenic material throughout lumen, is this a mucocoele? Do you think there is also a hepatitis? The uterus was normal.
Do you think this is an incidental (although significant) finding?

The gbis certainly
The gbis certainly overdistended and fibrosed wall. “Emerging mucocele” I would say as there is no overt striation. No matter what you call it it may not be functional. Consider a Gb motility study to see if needs to be removed. may have low grade signs… hyporhexia and such.
