Interesting striations Liz, I’ll ping a SP guru for some insight for you! Question, how was the blood flow in this kidney? particularly in those regions?
In older resolution we didnt
In older resolution we didnt this well but with newer machines we are. Microinfarcts/scarring or early mineralization and if in spleen too often cushings will start like this.. its the sonographers calcinosis cutis just in the renal cortex and spleen.

Eric, Interesting. I’ll have to go back and look at the case and see if HAC was on the ddx list. I have definitely seen the mineralization with HAC in spleen but I haven’t seen it present this way.
