inflamed gallbladder mucocele, IBD pattern, pancreatic inflammation, age- related renal changes
The liver revealed slightly increased portal markings. The gallbladder in this patient revealed over distension and measured 2.0 cm. Regional inflammation was noted as well as striating bile. This is consistent with inflamed mucocele. The inflammatory pattern along the gallbladder continued into the cystic duct, which was over distended with suspended debris and regional inflammation. Non-obstructive, polypoid changes were also noted within the gallbladder and measured approximately 1.0 cm.
The pancreas was enlarged, hypoechoic and irregular. There were mild areas of regional inflammation.
