Liver Pathology

Two posts in one day. I would like an opinion on this case too.

Neeko is a 13 1/2 year old Border Collie cross that has a large necrotic mass on the left dorsal

flank. Cytology is consistent with some sort of Sarcoma.

I did some staging today with x-rays and an ultrasound. The ultrasound was WNL except for changes in the liver.

I was wondering if you think the changes seen in the liver are consistent with metastasis. Suprising the spleen looks

normal.

No limits to the number of posts :)). Patchy nodular appearance to the liver, which well may be metastatic disease but with the age of the dog nodular regeneration is also possible. Would recommend FNA cytology of the liver nodules.

Hmm I dont like the nodules and surely needs an fna… round cell neoplasia should exfoliate readily on this
