Focal pancreatitis in a 15 year old FS Jack Russell dog
A 15-year-old spayed female Jack Russell was presented for evaluation of vomiting and anorexia. The dog had had a splenectomy 9 months prior. A collapsing trachea and PU/PD were also noted in the history. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry included leukocytosis, elevated liver enzyme activity, and azotemia.

Ureterolith with hydronephrosis in a 12 year old FS Burmese cat
A 12-year-old spayed female Burmese cat was presented for evaluation of renal disease, weight loss, and anorexia. Urinalysis showed isosthenuria and azotemia were present on blood work. CBC was normal.

UGELAB (Laser Ablation) treatment for trigonal transitional cell carninoma of the bladder in a 10 year old FS American Eskimo dog.
A 10-year-old FS American Eskimo dog was presented for stranguria, hematuria, pollajuria and just not herself. She was non responsive to therapy for UTI. Severe azotemia and moderate anemia developed. Urinalysis revealed proteinuria, elevated WBC, blood and transitional cells, and isosthenuria.

An 8-year-old NM DLH was presented for evaluation of intermittent vomiting, anorexia, and lethargy. Urinalysis, CBC, and abdominal radiographs were unremarkable. Survey thoracic radiographs showed mild increase in the cardiac silhouette and a mild diffuse broncho-interstitial pattern.

Splenic hematoma in a 11 year old MN Rhodesian Ridgeback dog
An 11 year old, MN, Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was presented for nonspecific symptoms (ADR). Abdominal mass was palpated. The dog had a subnormal temp (98.8) and pale mucus membranes. Altered CBC/Chem/UA values included leukocytosis, mild azotemia, and mild hypoglobulinemia. Radiographs demonstrated a mass effect in the right abdomen.

An 11-year-old SF Bichon dog was presented with a history of 3-4 days of lethargy, anorexia, and vomiting. Abnormalities on physical examination were tense abdomen, mild dehydration, and moderate dental tartar. Urinalysis (free-flow sample) showed inappropriate SG, (1.017), hematuria, and, pyuria. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry were leukocytosis, monocytosis, neutrophilia, azotemia, and hyponatremia.

A 9-year-old male neutered Plotthound dog was presented for evaluation of polyuria, polydypsia, and occasional loose stool. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry included mild anemia, mild leukopenia, mildly increased ionized calcium, and mild azotemia. T4 was within reference range at 4.4.
