Lymphoma with amyloid deposition in a 15 year old FS DSH cat
A 15-year-old FS DSH with was presented for decreased appetite and lethargy with a history of hypoalbuminemia, hypomagnesemia, and hypocalcemia. On physical examination weight loss, pyrexia, dehydration, icterus, and a grade III/VI heart murmur were present. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry were leukocytosis with a mature neutrophilia, monocytosis, non-regenerative anemia, azotemia, hyperphosphatemia, and hypocalcemia.

A 13-year-old FS Greyhound with a history of renal insufficiency was presented for collapse, lethargy, and inappetance. The patient was febrile. Abnormalities on CBC and serum biochemistry were monocytosis, elevated liver enzymes, azotemia, and elevated CPK of 22730. T4 was low.

Pyelonephritis in a 12 year old FS Golden Retriever with anorexia and weight loss
A 12-year-old spayed female Golden Retriever dog was presented for anorexia and weight loss. Pyrexia, weak hindquarters, and multiple growths were noted on physical examination. CBC and T4 were within normal limits. Abnormalities on serum biochemistry included azotemia, elevated liver enzymes, and hypercholesterolemia.

Primary renal dysplasia complicated by Leptospirosis in a 4 year old MN Llasa Apso
A 4-year-old MN Lhasa Apso with history of allergies being managed with hydroxyzine, Benadryl, and dexamethasone, was presented for a routine visit. The only abnormality on physical examination was an oral mass adjacent to the lower incisors. Pre-anesthetic bloods showed mild azotemia. The patient’s procedure was postponed until azotemia improved.

A 1-year-old spayed female Boxer dog was presented for excessive urination and anorexia. Abnormalities on urinalysis were hyposthenuria, trace hematuria, leukocyturia, and bacilli bacteria. Abnormalities on blood chemistry were elevated ALP activity and moderate azotemia. Lyme 4DX test results were negative.

Bladder mass in a 13 year old MN DSH cat with blood clots in urine
A 13-year-old neutered male DSH cat was presented for blood clots in urine. Physical examination and CBC were both within normal limits. Abnormalities on urinalysis included isosthenuria, proteinuria, and 4+ hematuria. On blood chemistry, elevated CPK, hyperamylasemia, hyperlipasemia, elevated total protein, and moderate azotemia were evident. T-4 was within normal range.
